Noor Khan extended herself beyond the limitations of race, gender and religion to save others
The various images of Noor Khan are representative of how powerful she was and her equality to men. She is seen with weapons and in uniform fighting for the same cause as many other men did. Her nature of being powerful and making a difference coincides with the various images of superheros and even lady gaga on this tapestry. She is saving lives and making a difference simply with her abilities in intelligence, determination, and strength. The spiked leather shows how strong, fierce, and determined she was and the softer materials shows her sympathy and hope to help those who were being targeted by Hitler's forces. The lace up, corset-looking material can emphasize her femininity and importance of that especially in that time period.

What a tribute to a brave woman who answered the call to serve without hesitation. I'd like to know if the blue in the tapestry represents the dream of her mother and brother after Noor's execution.
I am really curious about the textures and colors she chose as well. Specifically, the unified theme of leather makes me think of say a leather jacket and the badass connotation it carries. These women were extremely badass.
